Triune Mercy Center is seeking to hire a full-time social worker with extensive experience in assisting individuals overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges: mental illness, poverty, discrimination, abuse, addiction, physical illness, divorce, unemployment, educational problems, and disability. The position will provide holistic and comprehensive direct services to all clients including intake assessment, benefit assessment, goal setting, long-term care plan development, progress monitoring, individual money management, tenant education, advocacy and referrals. Master’s degree in social work or psychology preferred or a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology with equivalent combination of education and experience. . Post-MSW Fellowship at Triune Mercy Center
Our fellowship program is a postgraduate training program grounded in the core principles of ethical and social justice-oriented social work practice in a non-profit setting, utilizing an integrative model of therapeutic and community-based interventions at the individual, small group and community levels. The program aims to meet the needs of postgraduate social workers who have a Master of Social Work and are working to sharpen both micro and mezzo level social work skills and establish professional identity, while accruing post-graduate hours on the path to licensure.
